We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join a retail organisation’s Accounting & Finance department on a temporary basis. This role is based in Bath and will focus on supporting financial operations with precision and efficiency.

Description
- Assist with daily financial transactions and data entry.
- Reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports as required.
- Support the team in processing invoices and managing supplier payments.
- Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
- Respond to internal and external financial queries promptly.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as required by the Accounting & Finance team.
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the Accounting & Finance sector.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
- A strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with team members and external stakeholders.
Job Offer
- An hourly rate of approximately £14.50 to £17.00, depending on experience.
