Description
- Management of own client portfolio, being the main point of contact for the business
- Preparation of Statutory Accounts and Corporation Tax Returns
- Preparation of Management Accounts
- Personal Tax Return Preparation
- Providing commercial business support to clients
- Experience in dealing with Company Secretarial matters
- Supervising junior members of the team and reviewing their work
- Working together with a Team of Managers
- Tax advantaged share schemes e.g. EMI share options
- Venture capital schemes e.g. EIS/SEIS
- R&D and Creative Industries tax relief claims (including video games tax reliefs)
- Involvement with business development activities
Profile
A successful Business Services Manager should have:
- Professional qualifications in accounting or finance (AAT, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in managing accounting and finance operations within the professional services industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.
