Description

  • Manage cash resources effectively to ensure the business meets its financial commitments and maintains optimal liquidity.
  • Oversee daily payment runs across multiple ERPs, ensuring compliance with the PPPR (Public Procurement Policy Requirements) and the Fair Payment Code.
  • Lead the month-end close process, maintaining a robust and timely month-end timetable.
  • Ensure accurate recording of all cash transactions in the ERPs and uphold the integrity of balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including the implementation of RPA, to enhance cash and liquidity processes.
  • Monitor and optimize cash flow forecasting to support strategic financial planning and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on cash management strategies and financial reporting requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls and external regulations related to cash and liquidity management.

Profile

A successful Cash & Liquidity Manager should have:

  • Strong background in accounting and finance, ideally within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
  • ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent
  • Proficiency in cash flow forecasting and liquidity management tools.
  • Knowledge of financial risk management practices and regulations.
  • Experience in reporting and presenting financial data to stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and build relationships.
  • Right to work in the UK is essential
