My client is looking for an Experienced Chef de Partie – Pastry who will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
You will oversee a specific pastry section, ensuring consistency, creativity, and adherence to hygiene and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and bake pastries, cakes, desserts, and bread to high standards.
* Oversee and manage the pastry section of the kitchen.
* Assist in menu development, bringing creativity and innovation to dessert offerings.
* Ensure quality control and consistency in presentation and taste.
* Monitor stock levels and assist with ingredient ordering.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the pastry section.
* Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.
* Train and mentor junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff.
* Work closely with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Previous experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking, and dessert preparation.
* Creativity and attention to detail in presentation.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
* Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
* Team player with strong organisational skills.
Working Hours:
* Shift-based, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
