Overview

A Credit Controller is required to join the Accounting & Finance team at a leading professional services firm. The successful candidate will have a significant role in managing the company’s receivables to ensure timely payment.

Description

  • Manage the company’s receivables and ensure timely payment.
  • Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
  • Review credit applications and approve or reject them based on the company’s credit policy.
  • Prepare reports on account status and ageing analysis.
  • Conduct credit checks on all customers, establish and manage limits.
  • Resolve client discrepancies and short payments.
  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, mail or personally.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the manager.

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
  • Strong knowledge of credit control procedures.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Good numeracy skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
