Description
- Manage the company’s receivables and ensure timely payment.
- Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
- Review credit applications and approve or reject them based on the company’s credit policy.
- Prepare reports on account status and ageing analysis.
- Conduct credit checks on all customers, establish and manage limits.
- Resolve client discrepancies and short payments.
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, mail or personally.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the manager.
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
- Strong knowledge of credit control procedures.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Good numeracy skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
