Description
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Biotech sector
- Working with API drug substance development teams to provide technical solutions to clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on client needs and project delivery.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favourable terms for the organisation.
- Monitor and report on business development performance and progress.
Profile
A successful Director/Senior Director of Business Development should have:
- Previous knolwedge of API Development, Drug substance, Small Moledule CDMO
- Ideally strong knowledge of CDMRO environment.
- Delivers results through driving cross functional teams – technical, legal, sales
- Track record of selling and then winning new busines
- Well networked across Biotec sector
- Proven ability to identify and capitalise on new opportunities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach to achieving targets.
