Facilities & Maintenance Manager – Luxury Island Hospitality
Location: Caribbean
Compensation: Starting from $6,400 USD per month + service charge and annual performance bonus

We are recruiting on behalf of a luxury hospitality and property management operation in the Caribbean seeking an experienced Facilities & Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance, repair, and operational performance of a portfolio of high-end luxury properties. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on leader with extensive luxury resort experience and a strong understanding of managing maintenance operations within remote island environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily maintenance and operational functions across luxury properties and infrastructure
- Lead, develop, and manage the maintenance team including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management
- Implement preventative maintenance programs to preserve property condition and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and local operational standards
- Oversee maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, pools, utilities, wastewater systems, and general infrastructure
- Coordinate maintenance projects, renovations, repairs, and contractor relationships while ensuring cost control and efficiency
- Liaise closely with owners, concierge teams, and house staff to ensure seamless property operations and guest satisfaction
- Manage budgets, supplier invoices, reporting, procurement, and maintenance-related financial processes
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure luxury presentation and operational standards are consistently maintained
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Previous experience as a Facilities & Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Manager, or Assistant Chief Engineer within a 5-star luxury resort environment
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience within luxury hospitality or high-end residential properties
- Caribbean experience is required
- Remote island experience is strongly preferred
- Strong technical understanding of building systems, HVAC, MEP, utilities, and property infrastructure
- Construction or project management experience is considered a strong advantage
