Description
Finance Manager responsibilities include:
- Monitor and maintain Sage accounting system ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Monitor and maintain Purchase Order Control system
- Annual budget creation alongside management team
- Month end and Year end closedown in Sage
- General Ledger reconciliations
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Cashbook and credit card reconciliations
- Purchase ledger management and reconciliation
- Sales ledger management and reconciliation – ensuring effective debt management takes place
- Monthly financial and management accounts production
- Monthly Job costing reporting to management
- Cashflow reporting, monitoring and weekly cashflow meeting attendance
- Liaison with external accountants for year-end statutory accounts production
- Reconcile and submit Quarterly VAT returns
- Weekly and monthly payroll liaison with external payroll bureau
- Manage company pension scheme
- Any other duties as required by management
Profile
The candidate will have:
- Experience within a similar role – Required
- Fully AAT qualified or qualified by experience – Required
- Strong working knowledge of SAGE – Required
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – Required
- Ability to work to their own initiative to drive improvements – Required
- Good leadership skills – Required
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships – Required
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel – Required
