Overview
The Group Internal Auditor will play a pivotal role in the Accounting & Finance department in our Media & Agency industry. This Cambridge-based position requires a keen eye for detail and a passion for improving business practices.

Description
- Review and appraise the soundness, effectiveness, and proper application of accounting and financial controls, compliance procedures and controls, and timeliness of documentation generation.
- Conduct risk assessment of all departments, identifying areas of key risk and developing audit scope and work programmes.
- Perform audit procedures to verify that controls are operating effectively.
- Prepare and present reports reflecting audit results and document process.
- Engage with stakeholders to make recommendations on business and process improvements.
- Monitor the implementation of recommendations and management’s response.
- Coordinate with external auditors as needed.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
Profile
A successful Group Internal Auditor should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA or similar is highly desired.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Strong understanding of audit methodologies and principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with both financial and non-financial employees.
