An Interim Disrepair Surveyor is sought for a temporary role within the Property department of a public sector organisation. The successful candidate will have a primary focus on maintaining standards and efficiency in surveying procedures.

Description
- Conducting detailed property surveys and producing comprehensive reports.
- Expert witness and court attendance (occasionally) required
- Section 11 and 82
- Identifying and diagnosing property defects and disrepair.
- Providing expert advice on disrepair and remedial actions.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and regulations.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of surveying processes.
- Liaising with contractors and overseeing quality of work.
- Managing and resolving any disrepair disputes in a timely manner.
Profile
A successful Interim Disrepair Surveyor should have:
- A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
- Extensive knowledge of building construction and property disrepair.
- Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using surveying software and tools.
