Overview
This is a Senior IT Support specialist to come on board for a paternity cover to be accountable for ensuring the continuity of IT systems and services for end users by providing techncial expertise, AV and desktop support and ad-hoic project support to a user base of up to 100 executives. You will report to the senior systems engineer and will form part of a global IT team

This global private equity firm specialise in large scale private equity related investments in growing businesses in developed markets. This role will be based in their London office.
Description
* Zoom Workplace Ecosystem, including Zoom Meetings, Zoom Webinars, Zoom Events, Zoom
Phone, Zoom Chat, Zoom AI, etc.
* Install, configure, upgrade, maintain and support AV systems, desktop systems, and VoIP phones
based on Service Desk service requests and reported incidents.
* Troubleshoot technical issues independently and escalate complex problems to appropriate IT
team members, and CTO for resolutions.
* Maintain detailed records of daily tasks in IT Service Desk system.
* Maintain and repair laptop PCs & monitors, printers & MFPs, and other hardware peripherals;
uphold preventive maintenance procedures to avoid system failures.
* Participate in the global administration and monitoring of cybersecurity technologies, such as
Email Surveillance & Anti-Phishing, MDR/EDR, Anti-virus, Anti-malware, CASB, and DLP.
* Participate in IT-related tasks associated with onboarding and offboarding, such as
activating/deactivating accounts, issuing/recapturing IT equipment, controlling user access
rights & permissions and remote access accounts.
Profile
You will be an experienced IT Support engineer with 3 to 5 years experience of working within fast paced financial services environments, ideally within Private Equity, Investment or Asset Management. You will be adept at providing face to face support to senior level executives in a professional and timely manner.
You will have excellent experience across Windows and Mac environments and will be able so support all Microsoft business applications.
You will have strong analytical skills in setup/configuration procedures and troubleshooting techniques for software hardware, audiovisual systems and peripheral IT equipment. You will be experienced with managing accurate documentation of system installations, configurations, upgrades, audits, compliance initiatives, and IT asset inventory.
You will also possess extensive experience with Zoom AV systems, and familiarity with other VC systems
(Teams, Google Meet, Cisco, etc.).
