Overview
A leading organisation in the energy and construction sectors is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their team in London. In this role, you’ll provide commercially focused legal support for the company’s construction management projects, ensuring compliance and managing legal risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice on construction and refurbishment projects.
- Review, negotiate, and draft contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC).
- Support tenders, projects, variations, and operational matters.
- Work closely with internal teams and external advisers.
- Manage external legal resources and deliver legal training.

Who We’re Looking For:
- UK-qualified solicitor or barrister (or equivalent) with 3-6 years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience with JCT/NEC contracts and public procurement preferred.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
