Part of a successful international organisation, this high-tech manufacturer has developed an enviable reputation for product quality and innovation. They are currently undertaking their next phase of recruitment and therefore require an experienced Electronic Manufacturing Engineer to join their expanding business.
This is a varied role and your responsibilities will include:
o Providing support to the Manufacturing Engineering team as new products and prototypes are built, tested and validated ahead of volume production. Working closely with overseas sub contract manufacturing businesses to replicate production issues and ultimately improve manufacturing yield.
o You will be involved with the assembly, build and electronics test of prototype products and test systems in the product development stage.
o You will also be involved with the build and support of production test and assembly jigs and fixtures. You will utilise your broad prototype skills and use standard benchtop equipment ie oscilloscopes, multimeters etc
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
o Ideally qualified to HND / HNC level in Electronics
o A minimum of 5 years experience as an Electronic Technician / Engineeer
o Experienced in Electronic prototype, build and test, PCB assembly & repair
o Able to read circuit diagrams
