Overview

We are seeking a diligent and capable Financial Controller who is looking for part-time work (3 days a week) and has a good understanding of the industrial/manufacturing sector. This role is a key part of the decision making senior leadership team.

Description

  • Oversee the management and coordination of all financial activities of the company.
  • Participate in planning and forecasting across the business
  • Develop and build upon established accounting practices ad-hoc
  • Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, management accounts and management information
  • Work with the leadership team to define performance measures that support the company’s strategic direction.

Profile

The ideal candidate for this role should have:

  • A solid background in finance and ideally in the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Extensive understanding of financial trends within the general market.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
