Description
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for 500+ UK, ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
- Input and validate variable data such as bonuses, commissions, overtime, and absences.
- Maintain accurate payroll records in accordance with HMRC legislation
- Checking accuracy of data received from other departments
- Calculation of statutory payments and deductions, SMP, SSP, SPP, Tax, NI, Student Loans etc.
- To ensure P45 and New Starter checklist is processed and produced accurately. Including P60s and P11Ds
- Run Payroll reconciliations
- Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity in our systems.
- Collaborate with the cross functional teams to identify areas for improvement.
- Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and industry best practices, ensuring compliance and recommending adjustments as needed.
- To ensure compliance with Pension auto-enrolment for all employees
- To deal with HMRC & employee enquiries relating to payroll
- First point of contact for initial payroll and pension related queries
- Responsible for Payroll Mailbox and query response in adherence with agreed SLA’s
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed.
Profile
A successful Payroll Coordinator should have:

- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and relevant regulations.
