Top 100 UK Law firm are looking to further strengthen their Planning & Environment team by recruiting a NQ – 2 PQE Solicitor to join them in either their Exeter or Bristol office.
This is a standout opportunity to join a top-tier Planning & Environment team (Legal 500-ranked), where you’ll enjoy high-impact work across commercial, residential, infrastructure, and regeneration projects.
The successful Planning Lawyer will take a leading role in:
- Advising on planning applications, infrastructure agreements, and strategic legal planning
- Supporting major Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs)
- Collaborating with property and public sector clients on transactional matters
Requirements
Ideally, you’ll bring:
- A solid grounding in planning law (either via training or post-qualification)
- Experience in development, environmental or energy law would be an advantage but is not essential
Our client are also open to applications from individuals who haven’t had a formal seat in Planning but have gained relevant experience in a similar area such as real estate, environmental, or public law and have a strong interest in pursuing a career in planning

Job Tenure: Permanent and Full-Time
Salary: £60000 – £67000 per annum
Location: Bristol, Bristol
