This role is for a diligent Rents and Service Charge Officer in the Rents and Service Charge department of a small to medium size Housing Association based in Central London.

Our client is a well-established and respected small to medium size Housing Association based in Central London.

Description

  • Accurately calculate and apply rents and service charges
  • Handle and resolve rent and service charge queries
  • Prepare and maintain detailed records of all transactions
  • Regularly liaise with the Accounting & Finance department
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets
  • Work closely with external auditors
  • Comply with all financial regulations and standards
  • Promote a positive image of the organisation in all dealings

Profile

A successful Rents and Service Charge Officer should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • Experience in housing or property
  • Previous experience Rents and Service Charge
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and standards
