Chadwick Nott are happy to be working with a prestigious international law firm in their search for a Senior Associate to join the Transactional Banking team in Bristol. This is a standout opportunity to lead on complex, cross-border finance transactions and play a key role in shaping the future of a high-performing team.
The Role
This senior-level position offers strategic involvement across a broad range of banking and finance matters. Responsibilities include:
- Leading on acquisition finance, leveraged finance, and data centre finance transactions
- Advising on public bids, private acquisitions, and event-driven financings
- Managing investment-grade loans, asset-backed and receivables financings
- Acting as a key contact for high-profile clients including banks, sponsors, corporates, and asset managers
- Collaborating with colleagues across UK and international offices
- Driving business development and marketing initiatives
- Mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to team development
- Delivering commercially astute legal advice with precision and clarity
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a finance lawyer with:
- 4+ years PQE in transactional banking
- Experience gained at an international or leading regional firm
- Strong academic credentials and technical expertise
- Proven ability to manage complex transactions independently
- Commercial awareness and strategic thinking
- A proactive approach to client relationship management
- Leadership qualities and a collaborative mindset
- Enthusiasm for contributing to a diverse and inclusive team culture
Working Arrangements
- This role supports hybrid working, with a minimum of three days in-office per week, subject to client needs.
