General Manager – Newcastle

Location: Newcastle
Salary: Up to £45,000 DOE
Bonus: 20% annual performance bonus
Start Date: Immediate

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead a high-volume QSR restaurant in Newcastle for a growing food and hospitality business.

This is a hands-on leadership role for a strong operator who can take ownership of day-to-day operations, team performance, guest experience and commercial results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day restaurant operations and performance
• Lead, manage and develop management and front-line teams
• Deliver consistently high guest experience and operational standards
• Drive sales, profitability and cost control
• Manage P&L and key operational KPIs
• Maintain strong food safety, health & safety and brand standards
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training and team development
• Implement and maintain operational systems and processes
• Ensure the restaurant is fully prepared for peak trading periods
• Identify opportunities to improve operational and commercial performance

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a General Manager within QSR, fast casual or high-volume hospitality
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Commercially focused with experience of P&L management
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Hands-on operational approach with strong attention to detail
• Strong understanding of restaurant standards, people and performance
• Experience within a structured or growing brand preferred
