This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their expertise in procurement, public sector projects and commercial contracting while working on high-quality, varied work with genuine scope for progression.
The Role
You’ll advise a broad client base, including public bodies, charities, education providers and commercial organisations, on a range of procurement and commercial matters.
Your work will include:
- Supporting clients through procurement exercises and tender processes
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts
- Advising on outsourcing, collaboration, framework and grant agreements
- Working on major public sector, technology, regeneration and infrastructure projects
- Providing practical advice on contract management, variations and risk issues
Candidate Requirements
We’re interested in hearing from solicitors who have experience in:
- Commercial contracts, procurement or public sector projects
- Drafting and negotiating complex agreements
- Providing commercially focused, pragmatic advice
- Managing matters with an appropriate level of autonomy
Knowledge of public procurement law would be advantageous, although candidates from a strong commercial contracts background looking to specialise further in this area are also encouraged to apply.
You’ll be a confident communicator, commercially aware and keen to play a key role in a growing practice area.
