Location: Montauk, NY
Salary: $110,000–$120,000 annually
Package: Up to 15% annual bonus + Benefits + PTO + 401(k) + Subsidized Manager Housing + Relocation Assistance
Position Overview
We are hiring on behalf of a prestigious resort seeking an experienced Director of Housekeeping to lead the housekeeping operation across a large, expansive property.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, service, presentation, and guest satisfaction while leading a large housekeeping team.
The role offers a clear career path toward Director of Rooms for an individual who demonstrates strong operational leadership and a broader understanding of Rooms Division operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all housekeeping operations across the resort.
- Maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest service throughout the property.
- Recruit, train, develop, and motivate housekeeping leadership and operational teams.
- Establish and maintain departmental standards, procedures, and quality-control programs.
- Partner closely with the Front Office Manager to ensure seamless communication and coordination across the Rooms Division.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement initiatives to improve satisfaction and overall guest experience.
- Manage departmental scheduling, staffing levels, productivity, payroll, and operating expenses.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Housekeeping leader with a strong background in luxury resorts, large-scale hotels, or similarly complex hospitality environments.
The successful candidate will bring:
- Proven experience as a Director of Housekeeping or senior Housekeeping leader.
- Experience managing large teams and operations across an expansive property.
- Strong knowledge of luxury housekeeping standards and quality assurance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong financial and labor-management capabilities.
- A hands-on leadership approach and the physical stamina required to operate across a large, spread-out resort.
- The ability to work collaboratively with Front Office and other senior operational leaders.
