General Manager – Surbiton – Lively Sports Pub – £45,000 + Bonus + Live-In
We’re looking for an experienced and energetic General Manager to take the reins at a popular community pub in Surbiton.
This is a lively, well-established venue with a strong local following, offering great drinks, live sport, entertainment and a welcoming atmosphere. We need a hands-on operator who can lead from the front, engage with the local community and continue driving the business forward.
The role:
- Take full ownership of the day-to-day operation
- Lead, motivate and develop a passionate team
- Drive sales, events and local engagement
- Manage labour, stock, budgets and profitability
- Maintain excellent standards of service and presentation
- Build a fun, positive and people-focused culture
About you:
- An experienced General Manager or strong Deputy ready to step up
- A natural host who enjoys being visible and engaging with guests
- Commercially aware with good control of costs and margins
- Confident managing a busy, community-focused pub
- Passionate about live sport, entertainment and creating memorable experiences
- Comfortable working closely with the local community
The package:
- £45,000 salary
- Performance-related bonus
